Acadèmia del Cinema Català and Fundació puntCAT work together on promoting the .cat domain

In order to promote the use of the .cat domain as much as possible, which has been adopted by the Acadèmia del Cinema Català in its web environment since it was established and in all its projects and applications, Fundació puntCAT is to offer a special package to members of the academy that includes a two-year registration of a .cat domain, along with other beneficial services at a competitive price that is accessible to all our film professionals.

The Foundation also agrees to provide support and specialist training to members of the Academy that adopt the .cat domain through this agreement, with regard to SEO management, content curation, traffic sources and web analytics tools.

At present there is a total of around 109,000 .cat domains registered around the world, and Fundació puntCAT seeks to ensure this figure increases exponentially through strategic agreements with the main registrars so that the price is not a stumbling block for users wishing to adopt the .cat domain in their web projects, whether they be for their business or association, or as individuals.

From today, all members of the Academy can benefit from these conditions thanks to the agreement signed by both organisations.
