Condolence statement

The .cat Foundation is saddened by the death of Jordi Fité and wants to share its sincerest condolences to his family, loved ones and friends. Jordi Fité joined the Foundation as a patron in June 2019. Last Wednesday we held the last meeting of the Foundation’s Board where we were able to enjoy his essence and good ideas, which have marked each of us. We will miss his commitment, energy, positivity and smart proposals that have made .cat a better Foundation. In recognition of his invaluable contribution to the language and the country, we will continue to be firm, now more than ever, in growing the voice of Catalan on the Internet. We can’t think of a better tribute to his most important work.
