Fundació .cat participates in the first edition of L’Aferrada.

On November 25 and 26, in Palma de Mallorca, L’Aferrada, the new meeting of digital content creators driven by the Obra Cultural Balear, will take place. L’Aferrada aims to be a point of connection for the entire digital creation ecosystem and promote the presence of Catalan in this field.

During the first day of L’Aferrada, Roman Roset, head of digital projects at the .cat Foundation, will explain the need to create the first industrial standard for the world of content creators in Catalan. A project that is being developed in collaboration with the digital creation factory, Fera, and will be unveiled during the first quarter of 2024.

From Fundació .cat and La Fera, we believe that it is necessary to create a standard to identify innovations, trends, and phenomena in the Catalan content ecosystem. At the same time, this project can be a great opportunity for content creators themselves, as it will also serve to energize the promotion of creators and content generated in Catalan.
