We celebrated the day of the book, Diada de Sant Jordi, by talking to Marta Marrón, from Bookshop.org.
The platform, which already exists in the US and the UK, arrived in Catalonia and Spain on 12 April. The reception has been a success, and the platform’s promoters have been busy these days responding to the media and handling hundreds of orders. They want to become the local alternative to large book delivery platforms, such as Amazon. We’ll see how far they get, for now we only know that they have risen very strongly.
