Jo .cat, digital training educational program

Fundació .cat has promoted in collaboration with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the support of the Department of Digital Policies and Public Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya the project jo .cat, a training program aimed at people who have passed an ACTIC certificate and are unemployed.

What is jo .cat?

This is a 100% online training of 40 hours with which they will know what it means to have a digital identity, how to become more visible on the Internet to promote themselves in front of companies and/or interested parties and will obtain the necessary tools to create their Identity on the Internet. The final activity of the program will consist of the creation of a website and an e-mail with a .cat domain. This website will be the property of the student and can be used to publicize their professional profile on the web.

The first 1.000 registered on jo.cat will get the .cat domain and web hosting completely free!

With this project we want to help people in a situation of unemployment in these difficult times and give them the necessary tools to improve their work situation.
