A tablet to bridge the digital divide

A Catalan start-up has created a device that helps to adapt tablets to the elderly. The team that makes up Bleta started handing out adapted tablets to homes and hospitals during confinement, and from this non-profit action came the idea.

They buy the terminal from a supplier, but install software that includes six of the most common applications. The user experience is more intuitive and the icons are larger.

After the pilot test, carried out with the grandfathers and grandmothers of the start-up team, the terminals can now be purchased on the Bleta website.
