The wapps.cat contest closes with more than 3,000 students registered

The contest grows year after year, and we can already say that we have broken the registration record once again, with more than 3,000 students from the Catalan regions. Specifically, this year 1,183 groups made up of 3,321 students from 118 schools throughout the Catalan-speaking region have registered.

Those registered for the contest may submit their website or application to the contest until 6 March. After that, a jury will review each of the projects to choose the finalists in each category.

Moreover, from 24 March to 2 April, all websites and applications submitted to the contest will be eligible for the popular vote prize. All projects may be viewed on the wapps.cat contest page, and people will be able to vote for their favourite website and application.

In mid-April, Fundació.cat will announce the finalists in each category, who will have to present their project in person before the jury at the contest final to be held in mid-May, along with the awards ceremony.
